Beta evaluation
This prerelease is prepared for controlled evaluation. Offline tests do not qualify real tenant operation, Power BI rendering or scheduled refresh.
Install and open
Extract the complete package. Open pbip/SmartWorkplaceDashboard.pbip in Power BI Desktop with PBIP/PBIR support. Node.js is only needed to rebuild; PowerShell 7 is needed for the validator.
Configure one tenant
Set DataRootPath to one tenant folder containing DATA-LAST and DATA-ALL, then set ExpectedTenantKey. A blank tenant key blocks refresh. Never combine tenant folders. Country filters are not access controls; the beta includes no row-level security.
Data quality and calculations
Missing files, schema mismatches, mixed tenant keys, partial inventory and ambiguous identities stop refresh. Missing activity and invalid numbers remain unknown. Base64 immutable identifiers retain their case.
Freshness and history
Freshness uses the oldest recognized export or report date; file modification time is a fallback proxy. Missing timestamps remain unknown. Weekly history is deduplicated and undersized snapshots are omitted; this cannot prove complete collection.
Reports and exports
The beta contains 90 source tables, two derived views, 189 measures and 19 report pages. Country filters apply only where model relationships exist. Tenant capacity indicators remain global. Power BI exports may contain personal and tenant data.
Known limits
Desktop refresh and visual review, DAX engine results, CSV/PDF exports, gateway credentials, SharePoint refresh and performance at tenant scale still require separate qualification. Capacity estimates require review of licensing terms. No PBIT or PBIX is supplied.
